2. Go to the independent stores

Another thing you need to know when travelling to Perth on a budget is that you should visit independent stores when it comes to finding cheap items. If you head to restaurants and stores which you can get anywhere, the price will be quite high, and you will end up spending more than you need to. Therefore, you should go to local stores and restaurants to make sure you don’t end up spending too much. The food is likely still to be just as delicious, and you may find a real gem where you could return. The markets are also a great way of getting cheap items. Be wary about food places when you go to see Perth’s top attractions. They are likely to be expensive if they are situated close by. Go further afield to get a better deal.

You can also enjoy going to the beach when you are travelling to Perth on the cheap. There are many stunning sandy beaches where you can catch some rays without breaking the bank. Take some sandwiches with you so you don’t have to pay for expensive food in one of the beach bars. You should also visit the beaches in the evening so you can enjoy the sunset. As it says here, you will get an amazing view of the Indian Ocean sunset that you will not forget in a hurry.

Perth is notoriously expensive because of the mining boom that happened a while ago. I lived there for a little bit and I just remember everything being so expensive, however there are heaps of natural sights that you can visit for free like the beaches, and entry to National Parks is pretty cheap as well.
